New Apartment

Here are pictures of our first apartment in Pullman..it's small but we like it and it fits us for now.

1. Our living room as seen from our back door which we use as our main door because it's a straight shot to the parking lot from there. 2. Our dining room (or the other side of the living room) as seen from our front door.

3. Kitchen - it's very small and narrow but somehow all our new appliances and gadgets fit into it and we manage to survive still! :)

4. And finally, the bedroom, which is larger then we thought it would be and very nice. It has a huge closet as well as some shelves in the closet which are nice for storage. We don't have much up on the walls but that's ok. We'll add to our collection.
It's been fun to settle into this new apartment together and set up a house. Although we are only in it for a short time, it is definitely starting to feel like home. We both are enjoying it very much.

Back in P-Town Again...

Today marks the end of the first week of classes for Chris and the first week of work for me in Pullman. We are back in P-town. It's a little strange for me being back here without being a student but I can't say I'm not glad to not be in class anymore.
Thursday night we went to the first meeting of CCC in Pullman. It was so much fun!! It was a little strange to be there without being a student but I still remembered how it felt when I went to the first CRU meeting. There were so many people there, it was so encouraging. I could not believe how many freshman raised there hands to show they were there for the first time. I know it much have been at least 100 people if not more.
Todd gave his familiar beginning of the year talk - I think I have it memorized by now and then students got up to share about the different ministries at WSU this year. I was very encouraged by this as well because I had no idea that so many ministries were getting off the ground. Bridges, Impact, Epic, AIA, and the dorm ministry are definitly in place at WSU and hopefully they will continue to thrive throughout this year.
Friday morning I had a chance to prayer walk the campus with a good friend and my heart was just so joyful as the Lord brought back many good memories of campus and I could see how the legacy is continuing to be built!
All in all, it's good to be back in town!

Up next, I'll post some pictures of our apartment now that we finally have all the pictures hung!

Long Time....No Post!

Well, it's been an incredibly long time since my last post but I have good reason for that. August 4th I got married to my now husband Chris. It still feels strange to say....everything is still pretty new.

Our wedding was a lot of fun....I've seen pictures already and I can't wait until we get our proofs from the photographer. It was just a perfect day..we loved all the people that came out to celebrate with us. Our reception was outdoors but luckily the weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day. We enjoyed seeing all the guests although we didn't get to talk to everyone unfortunately.

Now, we have just returned from our honeymoon which was so much fun. We traveled to Montana to Glacier National Park via The Davenport Hotel in Spokane at the Outlook Inn Bed & Breakfast on Flathead Lake. We camped for two nights outside the park and enjoyed the amazing majestic mountains, great hiking, and lot of wildlife (minus the bears, thank goodness).

This Wednesday we will move to Pullman for Chris to start his last semester of school and for me to start working at my new job at the Holiday Inn! WOW! Life is going so fast.....Here are some fun honeymoon pics to tide you over until my next post!
