Hugo!

We got a kitten (well 6 months old) about three weeks ago. He had never been around dogs before and it seems he thinks Tinkerbell is just a big cat. She's not to sure what to think about him but so far they are getting along pretty well. I forget how playful cats are and he is definitely coming out of his shell! Hopefully our furniture survives...

Drama, Drama, Drama

Why are people attracted to drama? It seems to be a universal attraction, even when people say they don't like it they still enjoy talking about it or being a part of it. Probably because they think it takes the focus off of them Unless they are the ones creating it.

We are experiencing a lot of drama at work lately. About three weeks ago our new chef started. That was after an absence of a chef since the beginning of November. While the F&B department did a great job of banding together and getting the job done for food service & banquets over the holidays and beyond they got used to not having a boss. So since the new boss has come along they are not adjusting to the change very well.

Already two people have quite for various reasons and I expect that others might not be far behind.

A Good Reminder...

I hadn't heard this song for awhile and today I heard it in the car at just the right time. Tomorrow will be a month since my aunt passed away. Having never had someone this close pass away - besides grandma & grandpas when I was younger - it's interesting the emotions you feel. I was telling a friend that I miss her because she's not here but I also am sad because I know that she's in heaven and that's a place I want to be. I love my life on Earth but I cannot wait for the day when we can be at home with Jesus. It's become more real to me this past month.

So hearing this song today hit home.

All this pain..
I wonder if I'll ever find my way.
I wonder if my life could really change, at all.
All this earth..
Could all that is lost ever be found?
Could a garden come up from this ground, at all?

YES! God is always working, always has a plan, always knows what is coming. And that is where we find our peace.
