Christmas Surprise

We had a great Christmas this year. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were very relaxing and fun. It was great to spend the weekend with our parents, my grandma, and good friends.

I received a great Christmas surprise gift from my wonderful husband and both sets of parents. One I was not expecting at all! A new camera! It's a Nikon D3000 digital SLR. I was so surprised to open that gift. Chris and I have been talking about getting a new camera and I thought we would just buy one for ourselves next spring or summer after researching and saving a bit. WOW!

I am so excited to start learning how to use it and taking some great photographs. Hopefully it will pay off in the future. For now, here are some of my favorite shots from Christmas Day, just playing around.

Great Pictures Carla. You may want to start by making cards and selling them like Leslie. I see 2 pictures of ornaments that would make great cards. I always prefer buying my cards from individuals instead of in stores.

Yay! I'm so excited that you got a great camera for Christmas! That's so fun. You will love it - and love it even more when you figure out how to use all the features. I'm still learning on ours!
