Another Week Gone By

Thursday already....I have a hard time believing there have been 24 hours in each day this week....it has gone by so fast.

I'm not really sure what to blog about! I'm still not sure what my job is going to look like in the next couple of weeks.

Here's what is going on: Myself and the accounting manager expressed interest in the front desk manager position at the hotel. I would be happy if either of us was chosen for the job. She would make a great manager and I know her - she cares about our lives outside of work - very important if you're in charge of scheduling!

She also told me she recommended me for her job if she moves up. I would also be happy with her job. It's not as much pay but it's better hours and interesting - dealing with accounts receivable and accounts payable and that type of thing. I help her out quite a bit currently so I feel like I know her job well.

Chris is loving his job. He came home on Monday after working 11 hours and said he loved every minute of it. That is great news! I feel like his stress levels are much lower now and he is getting better sleep - all after only 1 week on the new job. Thank you Lord for providing this for us!

We are having a great time on the weekends hanging out with family and friends and this weekend is no exception. Looking forward to a great baby shower on Saturday and a BBQ with some friends on Sunday as well as church Saturday night. Whew...no wonder the weekends go by so fast!
