Chris' Birthday Weekend

Chris celebrated his birthday this last Sunday. The best part was that my parents & his parents were able to come to our house! Since they didn't make it for Thanksgiving they had not seen our large new dining table and now they were able to see our Christmas Tree and decor as well. Although I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off Sunday morning decorating - it all came together.



Instead of a birthday cake Chris made cake batter (his favorite Coldstone treat) ice cream in our ice cream maker. We put together a lot of fun toppings and had a homemade sundae bar. It was wonderful!







After our parents headed home for the night we decided to text a bunch of our small group friends for an impromptu dinner at PF Changs. And there ended up being 9 of us. It was a lot of fun and Chris even got a candle in his dessert. Happy Birthday Hubby!
