Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life - in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing. - Phillipians 2:14-16

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July. Chris had to work during the day but made it to the fireworks this year! Yay! I joined two friends in Walla Walla for a free Christian concert. Pioneer Park in Walla Walla is beautiful with large flowing trees and a beautiful old gazebo in the center. The concert was right next to the gazebo under the shade of the trees.
Josh Wilson was supposed to play but he got sick last minute so at 5pm July 3rd they called Scott Kirpayne (sp?) and he agreed to drive over from Seattle. He's more of a songwriter then artist so it was fun to hear him sing songs he has written that other artists have done. And the weather was gorgeous!
After the concert we grabbed gyros from one of the food vendor - a bit of a wait but it was worth it - delicious! I love Greek food.
When we got back to the Tri-Cities these same friends hosted a pool party/BBQ at their apartment complex and then we all headed out for the fireworks. It was overall a great day!
Here are the pictures of course.
