Seeing the different cultures has been really fun. They checked in last night and headed right out to dinner but had a reception later on in the evening. It was fun to see the way they interact with each other, dress, and talk. It makes me want to go back to Europe. These are a few of the things I loved while I got to spend 6 weeks there in 2004:

The castles:
The history:
Of course we have a lot of that in the USA too (maybe not the castles) but it just seems bigger and better in Europe for some reason. I hope that these guests feel the same way about our little area of the country while they are here this week.

You should check out Hearst Castle in California. My friends and I always wanted to sneak up at night and swim in the pools but I guess they usually catch people and put them in jail. Bummer.
