New Addition

Saturday we got an exciting phone call. We were chosen to adopt 'Tinkerbell' a dog we had seen at the Benton Franklin humane society. She is about 7 months old, part Corgi and part Boston Terrier. We first looked at her on the Saturday before Thanksgiving but she had not been spayed yet. Originally, she was going to be spayed the day before Thanksgiving and we would have found out that weekend but she was still in heat and had to wait.
We are so excited to add her to our lives and home. She's still figuring out who we are but I think she will be a great dog. Today we broke out her first toy and she loved it - playing fetch and trying to get traction on our wood floors. The puppy in her definitely came out.
Her name is still being decided upon. We are not sure if we want to keep 'Tinkerbell' so we are trying to come up with some different names based on her personality, which we continue to see.
