The city of Wiesbaden in Germany was our home base for the week we were there. It's a very beautiful city - old but modern like most European cities. The first full day our cousin took us on the local tour. We saw the Kurhaus - the main building which houses a casino & restaurant and is adjacent to the theater, the Christmas market, a beautiful Russian Orthodox church and many other fun things. It snowed the entire day but we had a great time anyways. They live fairly close to the main downtown area so it was nice that we were able to just walk. We definitely got our exercise. Here are a few highlight pictures of the day:

This is St Elizabeth's Russian Orthodox church. It is up on a hill overlooking the city.

Yay for pictures going up! I can't wait to hear about it in person...hope your adjustment back to our time zone is going well. :-) Glad to hear you had a good time. Keep the pictures comin'!
