Weekend Recap

Wow, it's almost halfway through April and I have not blogged since the 2nd. I seem to have writer's block lately. Not sure what to blog about and no pictures of recent events to post.

So I guess I'll just share what we have been up to! We had a busy fun filled weekend although there were a few kinks thrown in.

Saturday our landlord had set up an appointment for some guys to come over and install a new sink for us and a new screen door for us and our neighbors. Originally we expected them last Saturday but they did not show. And this Saturday we expected them at 9 but they came at 11! Our friends Grant and Andrea were coming over at noon for lunch and a visit so we changed our plans and had pizza in the living room since our kitchen was unavailable. We had a great time catching up with them and seeing how much their little boy Noah has changed.

Shortly after they left my mom and aunt stopped by. My aunt was visiting from PDX and they hit up the stores and did a lot of shopping. It was great that they could come so my aunt could see our house. I then tagged along with them to Hobby Lobby. First time there and WOW - what a great store. They had so much of everything and for great prices too. I can't wait to go back.

Sunday our excitement was a surprise birthday party for one of our friends at church. It was a lot of fun. We all hid in the garage and when he pulled up with his wife and the garage door opened he saw a sea of feet! He was so surprised that he sat in the car for a good two minutes before getting out.

What did you do this weekend?

Hobby Lobby? What is that? Sounds exciting! :-)

I have also had writer's block lately. Blah. Sometimes it's just hard to find things to write about!

I'm jealous that you have a Hobby Lobby!!! I wonder what it is about MN that HL hasn't set up shop here yet...

Jess - you need to go to Hobby Lobby! It's where Joe's used to be. It's like Michaels, TJ Maxx (home decor) and Joann's all rolled into one store! GREAT!

Linnea - I'll have to write a comment. Maybe there are too many Lutherans since it's a Mormon company....haha.
