WINDSTORM!

Well living in the Pacific Northwest (on the eastern side of it) is fairly safe weather speaking. No tornados, floods, volcanos (in near proximity), hurricanes, etc. But one thing we do have is WIND! And we had a pretty crazy windstorm on Sunday night. In fact on Rattlesnake Mountain (which is the same height as Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State) the winds were over 100 MPH.

So there is lots of damage to be seen. Thankfully nothing was damaged at our house - thankfully for our landlord that is. But plenty of tree limbs and trees are down all over the 3 cities as well as tumbleweeds that even barricaded some people inside of their houses! Here are some pictures of the excitement. I guess there will be plenty of local firewood this season. I snagged all these pictures from the local paper.

And that wind has brought cold air with it. Hello Winter!
