Last Sunday we went to Chris Tomlin's Burning Lights tour stop in Kennewick. I have loved Chris Tomlin for a long time and I never thought he would come to the Tri-Cities!
In the fall when I found out he would be coming I was torn because at that time I thought Mr. B would only be a month old. But Chris said we might as well go for it because who knows when Chris Tomlin would be in this area again. So we bought pre-sale tickets online for General Admission seats in the first 6 rows right at the stage.
Well it worked out Ben was two months old and Grandma was more then happy to babysit! We had a great time at the concert and Ben had a great time with his grandparents.
The concert was amazing! They did such a great job - he toured with Kari Jobe who I had not heard of much before but she was really good. Also Louis Giglio gave a short message which was awesome. He was not originally scheduled to come but was added at the last minute.
And I couldn't believe how many people were there. Probably most of Eastern Washington after he had a stop in Seattle and Portland as well.
